A genre of films whose main target audience is children. The themes and plot usually revolve around children and are related to them. The various themes include animation, family, fantasy, musicals, literary adoptions etc. For example, Home Alone, Disney’s various adaptations of fairy tales such as Snow White, Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast etc.
